It has been proven through research that people only listen to 7% of what someone is saying, and that the majority of a message is in fact conveyed through body language. Horses are incredibly sensitive to these powerful non-verbal messages, but unlike people, horses give honest and immediate feedback. Utilization of this feedback is a powerful tool for refining the unspoken messages we convey, and an opportunity to uncover meaningful areas of personal growth; a principle which is at the core of the Equine Guidance corporate training experience.

Through specially designed ground work activities, participants receive immediate feedback about their positive and negative intact relationship skills, which results in developing emotional intelligence. Horses have thrived as a species for thousands of years by relying on congruent communication and authentic leadership, a competence they easily teach to people.
